What is FEAC?
FEAC is Forest Shipp. In 2020, when the pandemic was wreaking havoc, Forest was a college student who felt overwhelmed by the toxic positivity provided by various large companies and celebrities. Messages such as 'We're all in this together' or 'We're in the same boat and we care about you' felt like a disingenuous cash grab. The messaging was there, but it felt fake because of rising prices and two-faced corporations. (We're looking at you Nike with your sweatshops).
That is when Forest got the idea for an authentic clothing store that combined comfort with humor to spread awareness on different issues all while keeping prices relatively low. Prices are enabled to be relatively low because FEAC does not care about making more money than needed. Basically put, as long as supply workers are compensated fairly, customers are happy, and we have enough income to continue operating, we will never raise prices. The idea has NEVER been to make as much money as possible by up charging ridiculous amounts. Scratching out that bottom line allows us to care about economic equality for everyone involved. The goal is to create a self-sustaining business that continues to be authentic.
All of this is for people who, like Forest, just want the world to be a bit better than yesterday.
What Exactly Does FEAC Do?
While we mainly focus on combining mental health with clothing, we also occasionally branch out to things such as:
What Does the Future Look Like for FEAC?
We've been honored by all of the support we have received. We always want to be authentic in everything we do because we believe authenticity is the basis for kindness. We will always try to keep prices low while providing genuine meaningful clothing. We don't have aspirations to become the next Nike or Chanel. We only strive to make a positive impact in the world because you are what makes this world great and we want to be with you every step of the way.
Thank you for all of the support and we look forward to seeing what we can accomplish together.
